What The Day Will Look Like At 8:30 am the tour begins with an onshore meet & greet "dolphin briefing" where your guide will provide you with some general knowledge about the Hawaiian Spinner Dolphins. Safety procedures will then be reviewed as well as any questions, comments, or concerns you may have. Snorkel equipment will also be provided at this time.
Once on the water we'll begin our tour up the Kona Coast, keeping our eyes peeled for the dolphins. Sightings of other marine wildlife is also possible. We're always on the lookout for Whales (Pilot, False Killer, migratory Humpbacks etc), Manta Rays, Bottlenose Dolphins and Turtles.
After locating the dolphins, we'll gear up and begin our swim. This could last anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours, depending on your comfort level and the dolphiins' interest in interacting with us.
Following the swim, we'll have fresh fruit and lunch while observing the dolphins, whales, or simply the beautiful view, all depending on what's available that day. Snacks, water and additional beverages will be available to you throughout the day. We'll arrive back to the harbor at 1:00 pm.

While our dolphin sighting success rates are very high, the Hawaiian Spinner Dolphins are a wild marine mammal and we will be visiting them in their natural habitat so we cannot guarantee that they will choose to interact with us.
Please know that we do not chase, touch, or harass the Hawaiian Spinner Dolphins in any form. Not only is it illegal, but is discomforting to the dolphins and they will not interact with us if we do so. It is entirely up to the dolphins as to whether or not they choose to swim with us.

What to Bring: Sunscreen Towel Camera (underwater if you have one)
What to Wear: We recommend that you wear your bathing suit, hat and sunglasses along with any items of clothing you may wish to cover up with. Some people also find a rash guard or wetsuit helpful in staying warm and limiting sun exposure. In addition, bringing along a light sweater or long sleeved shirt is advisable for the return trip to the harbor. All boats are equipped with adult and child size lifejackets and shade is available onboard.
